With 3 girls, 19, 16 and 10, my life is very busy. Mr. DeLuca and I spend alot of time on the soccer fields in York and as much time as possible on the beach. Our golden retriever, Willow loves to walk and I am an avid runner. Most mornings, I run before coming to school.
My girls are busy with one in college in the Boston area, and the other two active with soccer and lacrosse. We spend a lot of time on the fields watching them play and Mr. DeLuca loves to coach!
Teaching in Kittery for the past eight years, I have grown to love the community and am currently seeing many students progress through high school. How exciting to be part of a growing and ever-changing community!
Second grade is a place where your child will strive to become an independent learner. We will learn many new skills this year and work hard. Your child will take home a Maine book that we publish individually as well as a Culture book that explores traditions all over the 7 continents. Sprinkle in some math, reading, writing and fun! It is a year filled with explorations, discovery and engagement.
